Caught at the Crossroads

Who are those guys?

The Air National Guard is installing a fibre optic network system that will connect the High School, Middle School, and Technology Department. In addition to increased high capacity, high-end video projects will be available to the classrooms as well as support the ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) for interactive remote classroom projects.

The project involved 100 labor hours, and used 1000 feet of fibre and conduit. The District saved $8,000-$10,000 using the 243rd Engineering Installation Squadron. Pictured here are Joshua Reny, SRA, and Tech Sgt. Robert Rolling. The project was managed by Art Bodwell. The photo’s location is on Libby Hill Road in front of the High School.

Gray's traffic problem and hectic intersection is well-known. But underneath it all is a vibrancy that often goes unnoticed. "Caught at the Crossroads" shows snapshots of the life that's underneath it all.
