NOTICE OF VACANCY
CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
The Town of Gray, approximate population 7,200, is
seeking a qualified and experienced Code Enforcement
Officer. The position requires the individual to enforce
the codes of the Town and State through the interaction
with citizens and developers, assuring equitable enforcement.
The Town of Gray utilizes BOCA 1999 building codes,
2002 NEC electrical and Maine State Plumbing code
with local zoning codes. At the time of hire the applicant
should be Maine certified as an LPI and Code Enforcement
Officer-Building Inspector with demonstrated field
experience. Within six months of hire the applicant
should be certified as a Health Officer. Interested
and qualified applicants are encouraged to forward
their resume to the Office of the Town Manager, 6
Shaker Road, Gray, Maine, 04039.A copy of the position
