SAD 15 Notice:
Notice
to MSAD 15 parents: There is no school for Gray-New
Gloucester K-12 students on March 24 and March 25.
March 24 is a Student Conference Day for staff, and
March 25 is a Staff Development Day.
On the morning of March 25, staff will be learning
about the requirements of the Local Assessment System
from Dr. Lynne Miller, professor with the Southern
Maine Partnership. For the remainder of the day, the
high school will continue its accreditation committee
work. K-8 language arts staff will receive training
in the Developmental Reading Assessment. They will
also review and give feedback on the grade level language
arts curriculum and the Sitton spelling program. Other
K-8 teachers will be learning how to score common
assessments and review assessments for reliability
and validity.
