Russell School Science Fair: Spring is here, and it's time once again for the annual Russell School Science Fair, sponsored by the Gray-New Gloucester PTSA. This year's fair will be held on Saturday, April 12th in the Russell Multi-Purpose Room. Judging will take place from 8:30 a.m. - noon, with the exhibits being open for public display from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Come and see what our budding scientists can do, and show your support for the children of Gray. For more information, or to volunteer to help out with this year's fair, please contact Sheila Myhaver at 428-4111 or email smyhaver@maine.rr.com.

Memorial School News:
Painting the Gym at Memorial School: If you have some time on April 12th or April 13th to join others from the area, volunteers are being gathered to paint the gym at Memorial School and we would love to have your help. The initial plan is to prime the walls on Saturday and apply the paint coat on Sunday. If you can volunteer then please e-mail, bbeasley@memorial.sad15.k12.me.us or call the school, 926-4322. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Congratulations to the Destination Imagination Teams
: In case you have not heard the SAD 15 DI teams are awesome. Of 13 district teams participating at the recent regional competition 11 were recognized with awards and 7 will be moving on to state competition. Memorial School had three teams participate, all three finished in the top two of their division, with one moving on to state competition April 5th. Congratulations to all!

Community Forum on Bullying: The next community forum is scheduled for, Thursday March 27th. Gray and New Gloucester residents are invited to join Sue Martin, Memorial School counselor and Dr. Joe Fitzpatrick, consulting psychologist to the district for an evening of information followed by questions and answers. This should provide a great opportunity for parents that are concerned their child has bullying tendencies and for parents that are concerned their child is being bullied. This forum will be at Memorial School, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
