Gray Council meeting re-schedule

Due to the elections on Nov. 2, the Town Council meeting regularly scheduled for that night will be rescheduled for the following Tuesday, Nov. 9.
There will be a Council workshop meeting on Nov. 8 and a regular Council meeting on Nov. 9.

The Council will then go back on their schedule meaning their next regular Council meeting will be Nov. 16 with a workshop on Nov. 22.

The Nov. 22 workshop is a continued effort by the Council to further discuss, review and develop understanding in using the Comprehensive Plan as it relates to zones in Gray and the uses within each.

The Gray Planning Board's November meeting dates of November 11th and November 25th have been cancelled because of Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving.
Consequently, the Board will hold a special meeting date of 7 p.m., November 18, 2004 at Stimson Hall. The deadline for agenda items will be 12 noon November 4, 2004.

The dates for the New Gloucester Zoning Committee meetings for the 2004-2005 year have been set. The meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month, and the last Thursday of each month. The next dates are as follows:

GNG High School Fall Sports Awards night, Tuesday, November 9. At 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria will be light refreshments and at 7 p.m. in the East gym will be the awards.

High School Sports info night: Wed., November 17, 6:30 East Gym. Athletes interested in Winter sports need to attend.

Starting in Sept. the meetings will begin at 6:30 PM. The Board meeting the first Wednesday of the month in Gray, at Stimson Hall, and the third Wednesday in New Gloucester at the Meetinghouse. All meetings are open to the public and the public is welcome to attend.
