P/T Equipment Operator/Truck Driver/Laborer
The
Town of Gray is seeking qualified candidates for the
above titled position. This position requires an "A"
or "B" Commercial Driver's License. The
successful candidate shall be required to pass a drug/alcohol
and physical exam. As a precondition of employment,
the candidate must be insurable under the Town's insurance
coverage. Light equipment operation experience is
required. The successful candidate is required to
reside within a 30-minute radius to the Town of Gray,
Public Works Department. Some weekends and night work
will be required. Employment applications are available
at the Town Office, the Public Works Facility or online
at www.graymaine.org (Downloads à Town of Gray
Job Application). Accepting applications until the
position is filled. Salary $11.25 per hour after 6
months. Hours per week shall be scheduled as needed.
Overtime availability is a condition of employment.
This position is not eligible for benefits. Year round
availability is also expected. The Town of Gray is

Public Works Truck Driver/Laborer
Search Reopened
The
Town of New Gloucester, Maine (population 5,000) is
accepting applications for a full-time truck driver/laborer.
Truck driver/laborers report to the Public Works Director
and are responsible for performing road and some grounds
maintenance, snow plowing/salting/sanding, and related
public works duties. Applicants must possess a valid
commercial driver's license and experience in public
works operations or a related field. The required
