Gray Town Offices will be closed on Monday, February 16th to observe President's Day.
Also Upstairs Town Office will be closed from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. during the week of Feb. 16, for Lunch time. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Downstairs (Assessor, Planner, Code Enforcement Officer) areas remain open as before.

Request for proposals
Computer System Upgrade & Service Plan

The Town of New Gloucester is requesting proposals from reputable firms to upgrade the town's computer system in the Town Hall. It is also seeking proposals for a hardware/software maintenance service plan and support services for ongoing maintenance and administration of the system.

To obtain the required RFP package and additional information, or to arrange a meeting to evaluate the current computer system, please contact Town Manager, Rosemary Kulow, Town of New Gloucester, 385 Intervale Road, PO Box 82, New Gloucester, Maine, 04260. Proposals must be submitted to the Town Manager no later than 4:00 p.m., February 25, 2004.

The month of February will have date changes for the regular School Board meeting as well as several committee meetings.

February 18th Board meeting has been changed to February 25th at 6 p.m. at the New Gloucester Meeting House with a workshop to follow.
February 17th Policy Committee meeting has been changed to Wednesday, February 18th at 7:00 a.m. at Russell School Conference Room.
Finance Committee regular meeting scheduled for February 11th will be changed. New date to follow.
Facilities Committee regular meeting scheduled for February 25th will also be changed. New date to follow.

Attention All Parents of Children Entering Kindergarten In September 2004
It is that time of year for us to start looking into our community to see how many children will be entering our schools in the Fall of 2004. If your child is going to be five years old by October 15, 2004, then we want to here from you. You need to register your child for Kindergarten screening.

The earlier that we hear from you the faster we can schedule appointments for you to come and visit. Depending on where you live in our district, you need to give us a call at one of the phone numbers listed. Russell School 657-4929 /Memorial School 926-4322.
