The Gray Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing At 7:00 P.M., March 11, 2004, upstairs in Stimson Hall on the site plan application of Jeffrey Horton, 157 Christopher Road, North Yarmouth, Maine for a horticultural wholesale nursery at 199 Portland, Road, Gray, Maine.

GRAY TRANSFER STATION NOTICE OF VACANCIES

The Town of Gray is accepting applications for employment for two positions available at the Gray Transfer and Recycling Center. One position is full time 40 hours per week year round with benefits. The second position is full time 40 hours per week on a temporary basis and does not provide benefits. Starting rate of pay is $9.50. Applications for employment are available at the Town Office or at the Transfer Station. Both positions will be available in the next thirty days. The Town of Gray will continue to receive applications until both positions are filled. All applications must be received by the Town Office at 6 Shaker Road, Gray. The Town is an equal opportunity employer.

High School
Sports: High School spring sports information night will be Monday, March 8, 2004 at 7:00 in the east gym

Bob Marley: This is an opportunity to have a great time and support the graduating class of 2004. Proceeds from tickets to see Bob Marley on Friday, March 19th will help to fund Project Graduation. Project Graduation is a chemical-free celebration which occurs after the G-NG commencement ceremony in June. The Bob Marley performance will be at 8:00 pm in the East Gym of the high school. Tickets can be obtained in advance by contacting any senior or by calling the High School at 657-657-9332. Tickets can also be purchased at the following supportive businesses: Gray
Food Market, Gray Super Market, Cole Farms, True Value, and Cook's Hardware in Gray and at Cloutier's Market and Mario's in New Gloucester. Tickets are $15 each.
