Notice of Budget Informational Hearing

The Town Council will hold a Budget Informational Hearing on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at 7:00 PM at Stimson Hall for written and oral comments from the public about the proposed Fiscal Year 2005 Budget. Copies of the proposed budget are available at the Town Office and a summary is posted on the Town Web Site.

There is one (1) three year term on the Gray Town Council
John T. Goosetrey term will expire.
There are two (2) three year terms on S.A.D.#15
Daniel Maguire and Amy E. Wilbur terms expire.
One five (5) year term on the Gray Water District
Lawrence Newth term will expire.
Nominations papers must be deleivered to the town clerk no later than May 04, 2004 with at least 25 but no more than 50 registered voters of the town of Gray.

Board and Superintendent, Public Hearing, April 28, 2004, 6:00 p.m. Board Meeting, Last chance to make revisions.

Board, Adopts Budget, May 5, 2004, 6:00 p.m. Board Meeting Stimson Hall, Board votes to adopt budget and signs the warrants (any changes made at this meeting will require a Special Board meeting before May 8th to adopt budget and sign warrants).

Board and Superintendent, Public Hearing, May 19, 2004, 6:00 p.m. Board Meeting, New Gloucester Meeting House, Public hearing to inform citizens of the budget adopted by Board. No revisions can be made to the budget.
District Residents, Vote, June 8, 2004 , Polls Vary, Budget vote has to be held 30 days after Board adopts budget.
