Town Of Gray Road Closure


Center Road will be closed between Dunn's Auto and Hunts Hill Road on 6/28/04 from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for culvert work.
Please seek alternate routes. Any questions call Public Works at 657-338.

Gray Town Offices will be closed on July 5 for the Independence Day holiday.

The upstairs Town Office will be CLOSED FOR LUNCH from:

12:30 - 1:15PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
12:30 - 1:45PM Thurday
11:30 - 12:15PM Friday

Notice: Rental available
The town of Gray is offering office rental space adjacent to the Town Offices on Rt. 26. Up to #1600 sf are available for short term triple net rental. The space is subdividable. For more information contact the Town Manager 657-3339.

Transfer Station Sticker Required

During the Month of June, 2004, the Town will be conducting random inspections of incoming vehicles to the Transfer Station on Seagull Drive to make sure the required Sticker is displayed for this year. Stickers cost $5.00 per vehicle and are available through the Town Offices, at the Transfer Station and at the Public Safety Dispatch Center. Proof of Gray Residency is required. This may include a photo motor vehicle ID with a Gray street address, Tax bill, Copy of a monthly lease payment with a Gray street address and even mail with your Gray street address though a PO box does not qualify. For more information please contact the Town Offices at 657-3339.

New Gloucester Notices

Public Hearing Notice
New Gloucester Planning Board

The New Gloucester Planning Board will hold a public hearing on a subdivision application for the proposed Reiss Minor Subdivision, as requested by Richard Reiss. The application for this subdivision proposes to establish 4 lots/dwellings on 4.31 acres on Intervale Road near the Upper Village.

The Public Hearing will take place on Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at 7:30 p.m., at the New Gloucester Meetinghouse, 389 Intervale Road.
Plans may be viewed at the New Gloucester Town Hall.

Committee Members Needed

The New Gloucester Board of Selectmen is seeking two citizen volunteers to serve on the new Fire Station Committee. Appointments will be made at the June 21, 2004 Selectmen’s meeting. Those interested should obtain an application at the town office and submit it to the Town Manager by June 15, 2004. For additional information, call the town office at 926-4126.



SAD 15 News

SAD #15 notice

MSAD #15 Board of Directors will not hold a meeting on July 21st or Aug 18th as would be their regular schedule. They will hold one on August 4th at 6:00 PM. Starting in Sept. the meetings will begin at 6:30 PM. The Board meeting the first Wednesday of the month in Gray, at Stimson Hall, and the third Wednesday in New Gloucester at the Meetinghouse. All meetings are open to the public and the public is welcome to attend.

High School Guidance Office announces SAT Test Dates for the firstsemester of the 2004-05 School Year:

Sept 7, 2004 - Oct 9, 2004
Oct 1, 2004 - Nov 6, 2004
Oct 29, 2004 - Dec 4, 2004
Dec 20, 004 - Jan 22, 2005

You may register at www.collegeboard.com or by using the SAT Registration Booklet (available in the Guidance Office in last August). If you have any questions, contact the Guidance Office at 657-4353.
