Windham Chamber Singers present:
"An American Family Holiday"

The Windham Chamber Singers will present their annual holiday concert "An American Family Holiday" on Saturday, December 11 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., in the new Windham High School Performing Arts Center. Special guests will included the Boys Singers of Maine and David Janes. Also featured will be Chamber Singers' alumni Leah Driscoll and Dan Strange.

Reserved seating admission is $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors. General admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. There is also a family rate (2 adults & 2 children) of $25 available in the general admission seating area. Tickets can be reserved by calling Windham High School at 892-1810 ext. 275 or through email: windhamsingers@aol.com.

Acadian Musical Sensation Vishten opens L/A Arts Cabaret Series
They were the big hit of the National Folk Festival in Bangor and now Vishten is coming to Lewiston for a night of fiery fiddling, powerful step dancing, and an unabashed sense of celebration as they open L/A Arts much acclaimed Cabaret Series on Thursday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ramada Inn, Lewiston. Tickets are $18--$15 for kids, full-time students and seniors 60+, or reserve a table that seats up to 10 for $150. Tickets are $2 more at the door, seating is limited, and all seats are reserved. The Maine Kanteles Holiday Concert

December 5, at 2 p.m. at the Poland Regional High School Auditorium, Rt. 26, Poland, ME. Advance tickets- $6, at the door- $8. Children 12 and under- Free. Refreshments will be served immediately after the performance! All are welcome.

Heartwood Winter Craft Fair

Heartwood College of Art will hold their annual Winter Craft Fair at the Kennebunk Town Hall on Friday and Saturday, December 11 and 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Artisans will deck the halls with an array of unusual and finely-crafted jewelry, folk art, hand-woven scarves, wooden wares, quilts and fiber arts, floral and "nature" wreaths, distressed frames, ornaments, dried florals, blown glass, velvets and fleece, pottery, mixed media works, baskets and more, by artisans and craftspeople from around Maine and northern New England.

A live pottery demonstration of wheel throwing by Derryll Brudzinski will take place on both days. D onations are accepted at the door for the scholarship program at Heartwood. Coffee and treats will be on hand and there is ample, free parking at the town hall and side streets.
