Otis Taylor w/ Raycharles Lamontagne - February 19
If blues is your passion, L/A Arts' February Cabaret is the place to be. On February 19 experience the genius of Otis Taylor who has been called "one of the greatest contemporary blues songwriters of our time." His brand of blues is dark and reflective; he tells it as he sees it. Opening for Otis is Raycharles Lamontagne whose voice has been described as "the smooth edge of a rough stone."

Two kinds of blues, one place to hear them - L/A Arts Cabaret Event at the Ramada Inn and Convention Center, 490 Pleasant Street, Lewiston at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2004.

Tickets for Otis Taylor with Raycharles Lamontagne are $18 ($15 for kids, full-time students and seniors 60+) -- $2 more at the door. Reserve a table for the show, seats up to 12 for $180. Group rates and sponsor discounts are also available. Edward Little and Lewiston High School students can reserve their ticket for free with ArtsPass (limited availability). Forever Plaid
The four crooners line up during their "Perfidia" number in the March 5-14 production of "Forever Plaid" being presented by Lewiston-Auburn's Community Little Theatre at Great Falls Performing Arts Center, Academy St., Auburn. Tickets for the nostalgic musical by Stuart Ross featuring songs from the fabulous fifties can be reserved by calling the box office at 783-0958 or accessing the theatre's website at laclt.com.
