L/A Children's Chorus Closes Eleventh Season With Festive Spring Concert

Spring, the season of nature's promised re-birth following a long, frigid and snowy winter, is hardly the time to be singing carols related to the birth of Christ particularly so shortly after Easter. Yet, that is what precisely occupies so much of the current labors of the twenty-two members from L/A Children's Chorus in eager anticipation for their long-awaited rousing final performance of the year. The 17 girls and 5 boys ranging in age from 7 to 14 have been hard at work all year long in preparation for this special concert which is slated for Friday night, June 4th, at 7:30pm in the concert hall of the Olin Arts Center at Bates College in Lewiston.

Admission to the concert will be $10.00 at the door on the evening of the performance. Tickets can be purchased in advance for a discounted price at both Lewiston/Auburn Hannaford Supermarkets for $8.00 each. All children and students aged 18 and under are admitted free of charge to the concert. The theme for this concert is to invite residents of the greater Lewiston/Auburn community to come and hear these marvelous and enchanting little singers. Their skill and enthusiasm for singing will both amaze and pleasantly surprise the audience!
