Caught at the Crossroads

The Gray Fire Department visited Russell School this Tuesday. Kindergarteners, First, and Second graders got to see first hand what fire fighters look like when they are dressed in their fire fighting gear. The Fire Fighters also reviewed safety rules with the children, for example, children were reminded to crawl under smoke and to STOP, DROP, and ROLL of their clothes catch n fire.

Children and families can learn more by visiting Gray Fire Station this Saturday during their Open house from 10-2. there will be lots of activities for the children to enjoy!

Here, lucky Malcolm Aube from Ms. Moriba's Russell School P.M. Kindergarten class got to take a turn behind the wheel.
