Caught at the Crossroads

Gray Fire-Rescue department Lieutenant Dean Hadlock describes the scene to Water Emergency Team (WET) members Kurt Elkanich and Rob Lindstedt during a training exercise at the narrows of Little Sebago Lake Saturday morning. Supported by members of the Fire-Rescue department who stayed on shore, the WET members practiced pulling people out of the icy water. Members are tethered to shore by long ropes, for safety.
