Gray Business Association Auction is coming
The GBA is hosting the annual auction at Stimson Hall
Friday, October 22. This year should prove to be just
as exciting as last year's auction which produced
about $3,500 in return for the GBA, which in turn
was funneled back into our community for Scholarships
and other civic interests. Last year we had everything
from fly fishing outfits to storage unit space as
well as numerous gift certificates from area businesses.
One donor gave a credit for $100 toward any purchase
in the Gray business community. On average items were
sold for 40 cents on the dollar and we expect more
of the same this year, so please drop by Stimson Hall
from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. October 22 or your local cable
access channels 2 and 3. We will have the folks from
the town and Gray Family health manning the phones
as always.

Card
of Thanks: On behalf of the Friends of the New Gloucester

to everyone that helped support another truly successful
Book and Bake Sale recently. The cooperation and support
from all who donated books during the year, baked,
came to the sale, or helped out in any other way is
truly appreciated. A special thanks to our "luggers"
Ben, Chris, Zach and Andrew. It always amazes me to
see the number of books that pass through at one of
these sales. Thank you again and see you next year.
