The Festival of Trees
Last year the Gray Public Library hosted its first
annual Festival of Trees. The idea was to decorate
a tree from a favorite childen's book. The trees were
put on display in the library for the holiday season.
The Festival of Trees was well received and the library
will be hosting the event again this year.
Please think about doing a tree... as a family project
or as a group activity. Last year some of the trees
were Goodnight Moon, Billy & Emma, Linneas' Garden,
The Boy Scout Handbook, The Book of Faeries and The
Mitten.
You may sign up at the library. We hope to have many
individuals, families and groups participate and have
all the trees decorated by Nov. 30th. Please stop
in at the Gray Public Library or call (657-4110) during
library hours for books, ideas and more information.
We have lots of books to choose from!
