Family Fun Day at St. Gregory's Campground: All are invited to St. Gregory's for Family Fun Day starting aorund 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 15. gather by Finney Hall for campfire, hot chocolate, and lakeside recreation. Pack a picnic lunch and bring your gear for use on snow and ice (sleds, skates, cross-country skis, snowshoes, and ice fishing supplies.) Come enjoy this fun family gathering with the St. Gregory's Faith community. FMI call Scott and Chris Sutton at 655-5279.

New worship service: A new, informal, weekly service of worship and praise will begin at the Tuttle Road Church, 52 Tuttle Road in Cumberland, on Sunday, February 29 at 9 a.m. The service will offer modern Christian music, drama to make a point, and a message that will engage the listener. Sunday School for all ages is offered at the same time as this service. The church continues to offer traditional service, with childcare provided., at 10:30 a.m. FMI call 829-3766.

Public Baked Bean supper: At AMVET Hall, Rt. 100, New Gloucester, Sat. Feb. 21, from 5-6 p.m. Adults $6, children $2. Beans, Chop Suey, Hot dogs, Cole slaw, Biscuits, brown bread, pie.

Patriot Grandstand Club Ice-Fishing Tournament - The Patriot Grandstand Club is sponsoring an ice-fishing tournament on Saturday, February 28th at Sabbathday Lake (Route 26, beach side). Registration starts at 6 a.m. at the Sabbathday Grange Hall. The tournament starts at 7 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. The fee is $10.00 per person or $15.00 per family. Tickets may be purchased at Gray Tru-Value, Mooney's Bait Shop and Dry Mills Store. Lunch and refreshments will be available at the Sabbathday Grange. Proceeds will support the GNG football program.

Prizes will be awarded for the biggest (heaviest) fish: First place is $100. Second place is $75.00. Third place is $50.00 and a $25.00 savings bond will be awarded to the junior (under 12) participant catching the biggest fish. There will also be door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

The Grandstand Club is also planning a prom fashion show for March and a spaghetti dinner, tentatively for April. Watch for more information about these event.

AA Meetings: Mondays 10:30-noon, Thursdays, 8-9 p.m. Al-Anon meetings: Thursdays, 8-9 p.m. All are held at St. Gregory's Parish Hall, North Raymond Road, Gray. All are welcome.

Gray Little League Registrations
: During registrations we hope you'll come forward and volunteer your time. We'll also be accepting letters of intent to manage & coach teams. New faces are needed & welcome. Poland Fire Rescue Pancake breakfast: All you can eat! February 15, 2004. 7-11 a.m. Poland Community School, Rt. 26, Maine St., Poland. Serving pancakes, eggs, ham, bacon, coffee, and more…$4 per person ages 6 and up. All proceeds to benefit Poland Fire-Rescue.
