Calling All Bakers! A bakery cooperative is starting-up in the Lake Region, in Bridgton. There's plenty of demand for delicious, nutritious, and high quality baked goods. But are there enough bakers out there to satisfy the public demand?

Here's the best part: We already have a customer. A new cafe will be opening in downtown Bridgton and has agreed to buy their baked goods from the co-op.

Everyone is welcome to join. Whether you are a professional or a wanna-be baker, there's a place for you somewhere in the co-op.

We will meet at Bridgton's Community Center, on Depot Street, at 5:30 PM on Thursday, April 8. Bring something to eat or drink, please. Let's look at each other's favorite recipes or baking books and exchange ideas. For more information call George Bradt at 647-2389 or email: applewood1@verizon.net.
