Proposed Budget Dates for New Gloucester 2004/2005 Budget

The public is welcome to attend, the meetings are open to the public.

November 24, 2003: Sent out budget material to all that spend money.
December 23, 2003: All budgets returned to Town Manager.

January 22, 2004: Selectmen receive the budget and begin the review.
January 26, 2004: Selectmen review the budget.
February 2, 2004: Selectmen review the budget.
February 9, 2004: Selectmen give final review of the budget.
March 3, 2004: Budget Committee meets week of March 3 to begin the budget review process.
March 26, 2004: Notice for public hearing on the budget.
April 8, 2004: Public Hearing on budget.
April 19, 2004: Selectmen sign warrant for the Town Meeting.
April 20, 2004: The warrant is posted for the Town Meeting.
May 3, 2004: Town Meeting is held.
