Caught at the Crossroads

Max Molleo, a Gray resident and senior at Cheverus High School, garnered many awards for his soccer play this fall. He finished as the SMAA's (Southern Maine Activities Association) leading scorer with 19 goals and six assists. He was named to the SMAA All-Star First Team, was a Class A All-State Selection, was a team captain, received the Cheverus Stag Award, was an honorable mention on the Maine Telegram All State Team and was the recipient of the Forecaster's Cheverus 2004 Male Fall Athlete of the Year. Max played varsity soccer all four years of his Cheverus career and will now turn his attention to the indoor track season.
