It must be hard to
complete a massive construction project near the middle
of the most dangerous and congested intersection in
the state of Maine, on almost no land, within sight
of thousands of passersby every day and working with
flammable materials.
This does not daunt The Tyree organization of Westborough
MA who has been contracted to replace Cumberland Farms'
underground storage tanks. They are changing the single
walled tanks with a new double walled tank. The project
foreman is John Pasquale. Mr. Pasquale said that "If
all goes well, we should be completed by the second
week of May."
Here, The Monument caught the moment when the new
tank was lifted by the crane and placed into the ground.
