Caught at the Crossroads

Instructor Emma Lobozzo sends her level 2 class to shore for noodles. Ms. Lobozzo is a local high school student and a program graduate. Lisa Pardi is the Gray Water Safety Instructor who oversees the Water program and is also a swim instructor at Pineland. "...[P]articipants can graduate from the program at 14, but the requirements have gotten a lot harder," she said. A new class arrives every half hour. About 125 children aged 6 months to 14 years participate in this Wilkie's Beach program in Gray.
