Holiday Fair
First Congregational-Christian Church in New Gloucester will hold its annual Holiday Fair on Saturday, November 19, from 9 to 1. Hand-crafted needlework, homemade baked goods and candy will be offered for sale along with other handmade crafts. In addition, there will be a collection of "white elephant" items from local households for sale (no early-birds, please). As a service to shoppers, a special children's activity room will be open from 10 to noon, staffed by some of the church's youth.

Early shoppers may also take advantage of coffee and donuts, followed by luncheon items featuring a baked potato bar.

The festivities will end with a drawing for the winner of all the makings of a Family Game Night - a treasure chest filled with classic board & card games plus yummy snacks the whole family will enjoy.

The church's Women's Evening Guild join in bringing this holiday fair to the public. Proceeds fund the service projects the groups sponsor throughout the year. All are welcome. For more information, call

Curves of Gray Annual Food drive is here
Help our community by bringing non-perishable food or frozen turkey to Curves in Gray, for Thanksgiving.

Food will be donated to families in need. Drop off food at Curves at 15 Main St. in Gray. Accepting food until Friday, November 18 at noon. Thank you!

Holiday Gift Sale
A unique assortment of handcrafted jewelry, accessories, ornaments, art, decorative items and a White Elephant table. Many one of a kind gifts and stocking stuffers! Saturday, November 12, 10 -4, at the Parish House of the First Congregational Church, 11 Brown St. in Gray, just behind McDonald's.

Craft Show
Saturday November 12 designing women Fine Craft Show. 4th Annual event to benefit The Maine Women's Fund featuring the work of 30 professional craftswomen. Atrium Ballroom, Cook's Corner Brunswick 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Craft Fair
The Poland Community School PTA will hold its 23rd annual Holiday Graft Fair on Saturday, November 12 from 9-3. There will be over 50 crafters, raffle tables, lunch, games and free admission.

Holly Fair and Fish Chowder Luncheon
All are welcome to attend the First Congregational Church annual Holly Fair on Saturday, November 19th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Parish House behind McDonald's Restaurant in Gray. Come for a Fish Chowder Luncheon and order your Thanksgiving pies. A white elephant table will feature many goodies including a collection of salt and pepper shakers. FMI- contact J. Looking for Crafters
The 18th Annual Holiday Fair at Memorial School in New Gloucester on Saturday, December 3 from 9-2. Craft projects for children, make and take, refreshments and raffle. Christmas Fair
Sabbathday Lake Grange will hold its Annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 3rd, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a variety of crafts, food, raffles, grab bags, Rawleigh products, and a White Elephant table. Lunch of hot dogs, beans, sandwiches, coffee, tea or juice. The Grange Hall is on the old Route 26 in New Gloucester.

Holiday Craft Fair
The Lake Region Eagles, non-profit organization whose motto is, "People helping people," will be holding a Holiday craft fair at 824 Roosevelt Trail in Windham on December 10th from 8 to 2. G-NG Adult flu clinic
Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 2:30-4:30 at Gray-New Gloucester High School Cafeteria. Cost $20 without insurance. All are welcome.

Be A Trooper….Help Fight Hunger In Maine!
Pack # 135 of New Gloucester asks you to join the Pine Tree Council, Boy Scouts of America in supporting our annual "Good Turn" to collect canned and packaged foods for redistribution to our neighbors who are in need. Place canned or packaged non-perishable food items in the bag provided. Bring your donations to the New Gloucester food pantry at the Congregational Church, November 12, 2005 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and the Cub Scouts will stock the shelves.

Happy Hands Play Group
The group is open to the public and meets each Wednesday in the New Begin Center basement from 9:30 to 11 a.m.. The cost is 50 cents per child and covers the cost of a snack.
