Principal Beeley thank you

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the PTSA and the many parents and community members who support the fund raising accomplished through the PTSA, for their support this school year. Over the course of the year the students at Memorial school have benefited tremendously by the numerous performances that have occurred as a result of their time and effort. Book authors, Musical performers, the Scarborough Gym dandies, trips to Merrill Auditorium and Bates College, a visiting artist and theatrical performances are some of the many events our students have enjoyed. Your direct support for the Arts enriches the lives of the children of Gray and New Gloucester each year and we want you to know how much we appreciate it. On behalf of the staff and students at Memorial school, thank you so much! Sincerely, Donna Beeley, Principal Memorial School.

Marsey Pendexter receives Gray-New Gloucester Teachers Association Scholarship Award

The Gray-New Gloucester Teachers' Association is pleased to award a scholarship to Marsey Pendexter. Marsey will be attending St. Anselm College to begin her studies toward earning a four-year degree in Criminal Justice, a career choice made at age thirteen and inspired by the compassion shown by many of the attorneys on the television program, Law and Order. Marsey is a focused young person who has said that from the moment she set foot on the campus, she knew that St. Anselm was the college for her. Some of her excitement stems from the positive comments that she has heard about its Criminal Justice Program, including the fact that several of its teachers are former FBI agents.
