Card of Thanks

Josh Locke Grateful to a warm community

I would like to thank all of the wonderful people for all of your support, prayers and love that I have recevied over the past 2 1/2 months. The cards, emails and care packages that I received while in Colorado helped out alot since being away from home was hard. I also would like to thank everyone who attended, contributed to and helped out on the benefit last Sunday. I would like to send a very special thank you to Cindy & Skip Perkins for all of their help in coordinating and making my benefit possible.

Thank you all very much,
Josh Locke & family

A thank you to Rep. Mark Bryant (D-Windham) from afar

Dear Mr. Bryant,

I am a Pilot for United Airlines and I live in San Francisco, CA. Today I was reading a news story online about the Northwest Airlines mechanic strike and I ran across this story in the Seattle Times:

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/
businesstechnology/2002447412_northwest21m.html

After reading the story I felt compelled to write to you and thank you for refusing to cross their picket line at the airport. Even though I do not work for Northwest Airlines and even though I am not one of these strikers, as a proud union member, I feel connected to them. I am pleased to know that the good people of Maine had the sense to elect you as one of their representatives.

Good luck to you and please know that many Americans like myself around this country are counting on the leadership of people like you to get us through these dark times of republican majority government.

Sincerely yours,
Mike Lorenzo gmlorenzo@rcn.com
