Letters to the Editor

Dear Citizens of Gray,

I would like you to consider voting for Andy Upham for Town Council. I have worked with Andy on two town committees and he has a great deal to offer the town. Along with his regular committee work he often attends School Board and Town Council meetings and workshops. He is well informed of the issues and concerns in town. What I most admire about Andy is that he is very analytical in the way that he makes decisions. When I think about the diversity of our Council, I see Andy as the "fact checker." When we work on our committees, Andy always wants to see factual verification from a credible source. He has the ability to analyze complex figures and the patience to check the figures of the budget. I believe that Andy will be a good addition to our Town Council and I hope that you will join me in voting for Andy Upham.

Bill Getz, Gray

To the Editor:

What a golden opportunity the voters in Gray have been presented with three candidates running for the Gray Town Council, Denise Duda, Andy Upham, & Marchian Skip Crane.

Before you think these candidates do not have the experience, you need to know two of the candidates (Duda & Upham) have regularly attended & participated in council business for nearly two years. If you have followed any of the council meetings, you experienced their freshness & common sense approach to town affairs. Skip Crane is more than qualified to do the job. He understands what we citizens really need & is anxious to get started.

I am totally confidant that all three candidates will bring a newness to the council benefiting all of us residents & taxpayers of Gray & will not be influenced by special interest groups. They recognize and respect the specialness in all of us and our town.

Join us & share the excitement of capable and responsible government for the town of Gray by voting for all three candidates Denise Duda, Andy Upham, & Skip Crane.

Thank you,
Jim & Fran Monroe, Gray
