Letters to the Editor policy :

In the interest of connecting with citizens and improving public dialog, The Monument welcomes letters of up to 300 words. Letters must be exclusive to The Monument in fact and in subject. We may also edit for length, clarity, accuracy, and to prevent libel. Please be sure to include a phone number for verification purposes and sign your letter.

Deadline for letters is Monday by 5 p.m.

Letters can be sent to editor@monumentnews.com, mailed to PO Box 1074, Gray, ME 04039, or dropped off at 12 Main St. Gray
