Letters to the Editor

Cards of Thanks:

On behalf of the members of the American Legion Auxiliary, a sincere thank you is extended to everyone who donated goods, helped at the yard sale and to those who purchased the goods last Saturday. It was a great success!

Nancy True, Post #86 Aux.

Card of Thanks

I would like to thank Ms. Lisa Millwood for her personal efforts to create a bookmobile for the students of Memorial School and their siblings this summer. The bookmobile ran weekly visits to our students' homes, distributing library books from the Memorial School Library. Ms. Millwood is a psychological examiner for MSAD15. Ms Millwood and her son Brandon offered to create this opportunity for the children of New Gloucester at no cost to the school district.

Twenty-five children read over five hundred books. The response and appreciation from parents has been wonderful! Congratulations to the students who participated. Thank you Ms. Millwood for your commitment to student learning.

Sincerely, Mrs. Donna Beeley, Memorial School Principal
