New Gloucester Community Fair

5th annual New Gloucester Community Fair
Friday, October 14th and Saturday, October 15th, at the New Gloucester Fair Grounds on Bald Hill Rd.

Friday night events

6 p.m. Southern style BBQ
7:15 p.m. parade of lights
8 - 10 p.m. live music by the Grassholes

Saturday events:
9 a.m.
One mile Canoe/Kayak race on the Royal River. Registration at 8:00 a.m. This is for all ages and abilities.

8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lions Club hosts an antique car show.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Live public safety demonstrations including a life flight helicopter demo.

11:00 a.m.
Best Baked Contest (open invitations to anyone to enter a baked good in the contest.)

6:30 p.m.
Fireworks
Throughout the day live entertainment will be provided by Wavelength, Contra dance, The I-Rates, Potpourri Music, Ben Detroy's, Jon's Band, and Shantelle. There will be games for kids, craft tables, a live glass blowing demonstration, and plenty of food.
