Children's concert
The Tuttle Road United Methodist Church will be sponsoring a Holiday Concert by children's entertainer Rick Charette, Sunday, December 4, 2 p.m., at Greely High School, Cumberland Center. Tickets are $6 for all ages. For advance tickets or information, call 829-3766.

Maine Gay Men's Chorus Holiday Concert
An Evening in December"
The Maine Gay Men's Chorus presents Holiday Concerts - "An Evening in December" on Friday, December 9, 2005, at 8 p.m., Saturday, December 10 , 2005, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 11, 2005, at 3 p.m. at St. Luke's Cathedral, 143 State Street, Portland, Maine.

FMI http://www.MaineGayMensChorus.org or the Chorus office - 207.772.1384. The Maine Gay Men's Chorus begins its 14th season with its winter concert, entitled "An Evening in December". The concert will have traditional, and not so traditional, arrangements of well known holiday music from around the world and will include early and classical music, jazz, old-fashioned Christmas and Hanukah.

This concert will be directed by Bruce Fithian, the founding director and long-time supporter of the Maine Gay Men's Chorus, returning as guest conductor. Each performance will provide a sign language interpreter for the deaf. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $15 at ww.MaineGayMensChorus.org or Drop Me a Line or Blackstones in Portland. Advance sale group tickets are available at $13.00 per ticket for groups of ten or more at the same performance - contact President@MaineGayMensChorus.org . Tickets will also be available at the door for $18.

Christmas Party While You Shop
Parents, here is your opportunity to drop your kids off for a fun time while freeing you up to do some much needed Christmas shopping! The New Gloucester Bible Church would like to invite your children to a Christmas Party to be held on Saturday, December 10 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon. All children ages 5 thru 12 are welcome. We will have fun and games, arts and crafts, snacks, songs, and a Bible lesson. All children will receive a gift. The New Gloucester Bible church offers this ministry free of charge as our special gift to you this Christmas Season! Merry Christmas!

Annual Shaker Christmas Fair
The Shaker Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village, Route 26, New Gloucester. Nine rooms of the 1816 Trustee's Office will be open featuring gifts for all ages. One of the highlights of the Fair is Shaker home baked goods including fruitcakes, hot herb biscuits, whole wheat bread, candies, pickles and cheese, cookies and other delectables. Another Fair highlight is the White Elephant Room. "Come one, come all!"

North Yarmouth Historical Society Annual Holiday Party
Will be held at the Old Town House, Route 9, North Yarmouth Sunday, December 4, 2005 from 1-3 p.m. An annual party, open to all. Come help decorate the tree, sing holiday tunes, make simple crafts, and, of course, roll out and decorate gingerbread cookies. They're baked fresh on the old wood stove. Guaranteed a good, old fashioned time without any holiday hype!

North Yarmouth's Annual Holiday Potluck and Tree Lighting
Wescustogo Hall, Route 115, North Yarmouth. All invited. Bring a contribution to the potluck; drinks supplied. The Wescustago Youth Chorale will perform at approximately 5:45 p.m. The tree lighting will take place at approxlmately 6:00 PM, followed by cookies and treats afterwards. Good food, more music, and possibly a visit from a Special Guest!

Looking for Crafters
The 18th Annual Holiday Fair at Memorial School in New Gloucester on Saturday, December 3 from 9-2. Craft projects for children, make and take, refreshments and raffle. Proceeds benefit cultural enrichment and educational programs for all at the school. Call DeAnn Thompson at 926-3070 FMI or to reserve tables.

Christmas Fair
Sabbathday Lake Grange will hold its Annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 3rd, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a variety of crafts, food, raffles, grab bags, Rawleigh products, and a White Elephant table. Lunch of hot dogs, beans, sandwiches, coffee, tea or juice. The Grange Hall is on the old Route 26 in New Gloucester.

Christmas Fair
Sunday Dec. 4, 9 to 2, at the American Legion Hall, Route 100, 15 Lewiston Rd. Gray, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. Benefit our Scholarship Fund. Tables are available to rent at $15.00 per eight ft. table. No smoking in the hall and we are handicapped accessible. Fish chowder and sandwiches luncheon. Holiday Craft Fair
The Lake Region Eagles, non-profit organization whose motto is, "People helping people," will be holding a Holiday craft fair at 824 Roosevelt Trail in Windham on December 10th from 8 to 2. Celebrations: Gift Making for the Holidays
Date: November 19 from 1 - 5. Area artists will lead workshops in making artistic gifts for friends and family, plus there will be a silent auction, and gifts for sale. Gray Town Tree Lighting
The Lighting of the Town Tree will take place on Nov. 27, 2005 at the Town Hall parking lot with hay rides by Heather Phinney from 2 to 4. and Donnie Carroll will be the MC from 3 p.m. to keep things singing along to get you in the spirit. Also guests this year will be the GNG High School Chorus, Elyse Doyle and Red Hat Ladies. And the special guest with his Magic Cane will arrive by Fire Truck form who knows where and be lifted up in that Mile high Ladder Truck and Light the Tree! The Fire and Rescue work very hard in advance to make sure all the lights are working. Please come out and brave the cold for a little while and show your appreciation to those men and women. Also our Ladies Auxiliary will be in there little wagon to serve hot chocolate and cookies maybe a marshmallow or two.
