Who's running?

'Tis the season, the election season. Of the terms that are up for Gray Town Council, Gray Water District, New Gloucester Selectmen, and Gray and New Gloucester seats on the SAD 15 School Board of Directors: here's the lowdown so far, as of Thursday, March 24:

Gray Council:

Seats available: two three year terms, one one-year term.

Incumbents: Occupying the three year terms were Pam Wilkinson and Lynn Olson. Neither are running again. Occupying the one-year seat was Richard Hall. He is running for a three-year term.

Taking out nomination papers are Andy Upham for the three-year seat.

No one has taken out papers yet for the one-year seat on the Council.

Gray Water District:

Seats available: One five-year term. No one has taken out papers yet.

School Board seats, Gray:

Seats available:
two three year terms.

Incumbents: Occupying the SAD Board of Directors seats are Tod Bennett and Peter Pinkerton. Both have taken out papers for a second term.

School Board seats, New Gloucester:

Seats available: one three-year term.

Incumbents: Carmel Morin has represented New Gloucester on the School Board since 1996. He has taken out papers for another term.

Board of Selectmen:

Seats available: one three-year term.

Incumbents: Vice-chair Stephanie Bryant's term is up and she is not running again.

Taking out papers are William Maschino.
