Undefeated Hebron!

Undefeated Hebron Academy Football Team Wins League,
Travels to New England Bowl Game

Hebron Academy's football team secured the Evergreen Football League Championship title with a 22-14 win over undefeated Portsmouth Abbey on Saturday, bringing the team's record to 7-0. The win sends them to the New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) DelPrete-Theobold Bowl Game this coming Saturday, November 19 against St. Thomas More School. The game will be held at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA at 2 p.m.

This is Hebron's first undefeated season in more than 10 years, and only its second New England bowl game bid in the last two decades.

Gray Tree Lighting

Above, Last year's horse rides. The Lighting of the Town Tree will take place on Nov. 27, 2005 at the Town Hall parking lot with hay rides by Heather Phinney from 2 to 4. and Donnie Carroll will be the MC from 3 p.m. to keep things singing along to get you in the spirit. Also guests this year will be the GNG High School Chorus, Elyse Doyle and Red Hat Ladies. And the special guest with his Magic Cane will arrive by Fire Truck form who knows where and be lifted up in that Mile high Ladder Truck and Light the Tree! The Fire and Rescue work very hard in advance to make sure all the lights are working. Please come out and brave the cold for a little while and show your appreciation to those men and women. Also our Ladies Auxiliary will be in there little wagon to serve hot chocolate and cookies maybe a marshmallow or two. The Monument: Elizabeth Prata photo
