Russell School Holiday Fair
Left, Trevor Swett and Lucas Maloney, making turkeys at the make and take table in the gym.

Below, Dylan Sanborn, son of Jodie Sanborn, was not impressed with the shopping. Here, Stacy Strattard of Gray holds the 10 month old as he sleeps through it all.

The Fair was maxed out with 50 vendors. Below, the gym is filled but also, every hallway was filled, too. "We had calls from 75 vendors but we ran out of tables," said Organizer Connie Holland. "The response was overwhelming, especially for a first time event." The vendors compliment Connie and staff for their organization skills. Connie was helped by Sheila Myhaver and Terry Lacarrubba, and countless staff and volunteers, said Russell School Principal Dan Joseph. Connie said that they began organizing in July and they were completely thrilled with the turnout. The proceeds go toward Cultural Enrichment and subsidizing payments for children to attend programs and camps.

Below, Left, Chris Bennett and right, Matt Robertson, both seniors, manning the "Make a sign with the captains of the GNG High School Basketball Team" and finishing their coloring book page of the Princess castle.

Below, Santa with five year old Madeline Testa, who is not too sure about this guy with a big beard!

The Gray Parks and Recreation sponsored tag football games ended their season with the Lightning playing the Red Dogs in the field behind Pennell Institute Sunday morning, and a fierce a competition as it was with fumbles from offense and defense, slippery mud, cheering and jeering sidelines, the players remained in good spirits and in the end the trophies went to the Lightning.

The tag football championship, sponsored by Gray Parks and Recreation Department, finished their season with the yellow shirt Team Lightning emerging as the victors. Here, the team poses for a victory photo.
