Hebron Academy class officers from New Gloucester, and around the world

Hebron -- Among this year's Hebron Academy Upper School class officers, home towns like New Gloucester, Auburn, and Norway are well-represented alongside places like Bochum, Germany; Bedford, Pennsylvania; Seoul, Korea; and Plymouth, Mass., reflecting the geographic diversity at the school. Class officers from New Gloucester include Bettina Voight, President of the senior class, Katherine Cole, sophomore class Secretary, and Rosa Van Wie, freshman class Treasurer.

Becoming a class officer is one of several student leadership opportunities at Hebron. Class officers are elected by their peers and work closely with faculty advisors to organize and manage special events and projects, such as class fundraisers.

Hebron tradition calls for the senior class president to deliver the commencement address. This year Bettina Voight will have the honor of speaking to parents, faculty, trustees, friends, and fellow students.
Hebron Academy, founded in 1804, is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school serving grades six through postgraduate. The Academy's mission is to inspire and guide students to reach their highest potential in mind, body, and spirit. Two hundred-fifty students from throughout Maine, New England, the United States, and the world attend the school, which is located just 20 miles from the New Gloucester area. For more information, please visit www.hebronacademy.org or call 207-966-2100.

Hebron Academy annual alumni hockey game includes local parents
Hebron -- Each year, Hebron Academy hosts an alumni hockey game and invites graduates to return and play against current athletes and coaches. This year, parents participated alongside alumni and coaches, while students cheered for them. Hebron has competitive hockey programs for both girls and boys.

Several parents who played are from the local and surrounding areas, including:
