Heard at Newbegin Gym in Gray:

"Sorry, the polls are closed."

"What?!"


Said Manager Mitchell Berkowitz to Christine Small of Gray. Ms. Small had arrived at the polls at 8:05, too late to fill in her ballot, and being a Gray-New Gloucester School Board member, was more than disappointed that she was unable to vote for the 10M bond her Board had proposed.
