So Quoted

"I attended the Historical Society's annual meeting last night, and it was pretty discouraging. [Historical Society President] Louise Knapp is playing some kind of game here. She seems to think that we (the GPLA) owes her and all the Society all the space she wants, without the Society turning a hand to help with fundraising. She ain't going to get it. I may come by Monday to vent a bit. I'll call you first."

GPLA President Ray Clark to Gray Town Manager Mitchell Berkowitz, last May, regarding the ongoing process to get the Library into Pennell Institute, where the Historical Society are already tenants.
