So Quoted

The As Maine Goes has a listserv, called "The Public Square" - an open forum for ideas, opinions, news, events. Views expressed are not necessarily those of AMG or the Editor. People post their thoughts on the topics of the day. Under discussion on Tuesday was the New Orleans Mayor and his recent behavior. A listserv member named Regnad Kcin posted this:

They need, perhaps, to hospitalize him. Maybe he's had a nervous breakdown.

Responding is member Mike Vaughan, also a Representative for Durham, part of Lisbon and New Gloucester, who posted this:

He needs to have some downers to calm his nerves.
Maybe smoke a number to help him keep his sense of humor.
A couple six-packs to stimulate his imagination.
And some meth to help keep him focused.
Intravenous smack to keep his hands from shaking.
A little crack to prevent him from dozing off.
Now he's ready to speak to the press.
