Notice

The Town of Gray will be holding its annual "Spring Clean-up" event on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of April. During this time residents (no commercial) can bring unwanted household items to the Transfer Station for disposal at no cost. Household items include; appliances (limit of 2 freon units), furniture, mattresses, tires (limit of 4), carpeting, televisions, etc. No construction or demolition material nor leaves, grass or brush qualify for this exemption. These materials will be accepted at their normal fees for disposal.

A valid Town of Gray Transfer Station permit is required!

Special consideration, in regard to limits, will be given to those who remove materials illegally dumped on their property or those who clean debris dumped roadside.

Nomination papers will be available for upcoming Gray Town Council; MSAD No. 15 School Board; and Gray Water District Trustee vacancies. There are currently two vacancies for the Gray Town Council both are 3-year terms. There are two (3-year term) vacancies for the MSAD No. 15 School Board. There is one (5-year term) vacancy for the Gray Water District Trustees.

Nomination papers can be picked up during regular office hours at the Gray Town Office, beginning March 15, 2006. Nomination papers are due to the Town Clerk by April 28, 2006 at 2 p.m.

It is time to start our Pre-registration process. We are asking all parents of children that will be 5, on or before October 15, 2006 to call the school in the town in which they live, and register their child for Kindergarten.
