Caught at the Crossroads

Office Animals

I rent space on Main Street and there's a connecting door between my office and the office owned by Gray Dove Design, owned by Jeanne Adams.

Since I've known the Adams's for so long, sometimes we keep the connecting door open, particularly on printing day, when The Monument becomes Jeanne's client and she designs and produces the paper.

The family animals come in and visit, they like to grab a view of doings through the bay window overlooking Main St. So do I. You can see everything from this perch, and we all love to see American life go by on a typical Main Street USA.

It is very important for newspaper to maintain a certain image, for example, not to be in a poultry barn somewhere but rather have an office that is credible, like on Main St. When a newspaper is visible, it is more credible.

The doggie is Thunder and the kitty is Max.
