Gray
resident candidate for Governor
By Elizabeth Prata
Gray -- Chris Miller of Gray, an active Democrat,
has thrown his hat in the ring for Governor. The field
widened last week with several other candidates also
announcing they want a shot at the Blaine House and
in governing New Englands largest state, including
incumbent John Baldacci. The Miller campaign Treasurer
is Gray resident Sharon Bondroff.
Chris Miller moved to Gray in 1984. Mr. Miller has
two teenage sons, a small business as an Internet
Service Provider in Gray, and likes to garden.

The Monument telephoned Mr. Miller for comment,
but was disconnected
instead of put on hold. When calling back, Mr. Millers
secretary said that Mr. Miller would not speak with
us because he was not ready to discuss his candidacy
with any newspapers yet.
There are three Democrats running for Governor, and
three Republicans, prompting a primary in each party,
which will be held on June 13, 2006. The General Election
will be November 7, 2006.
Rep. Mark Bryant (D-Windham) is running for another
term. He represents District 110, part of Gray and
part of Windham. His Treasurer is Donnell Carroll
of Gray.
