Vote early (but not often)

Absentee ballots are available for the May 2 referendum vote in Gray. Deputy Election Clerk/ Acting Town Manager Donna Hill said that absentee ballots are available for any person registered to vote in the town of Gray, absentee ballots do not have to be used only because a person will be out of town on Voting Day, May 2. They can be used for any reason, anytime. Before polls close on May 2.

Voters can go to Town Office at 6 Shaker Road and pick one up. There's a voting booth set up and voting can take place now. Or voters can call Town office to order an absentee ballot for themselves by mail. It can be mailed back, but it has to reach Town office by poll closure, 8 p.m. on May 2, voting day.

People can register to vote at Town Office during regular hours, or at Newbegin on the day of the election.

Referendum Day is May 2, voting is at Newbegin Gym on Main St. from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call Town Office at 657 3339 if any questions.
