Political Commentary

Anne Graham, candidate for House District 109, House for Gray, North Yarmouth and Pownal.

Introductory statement:

"I want to know what you care about. I want to be your voice in Augusta. Why, you may ask, do I want to do this? I have provided pediatric health care for 25 years. I believe that we can take care of one another in a better way. I believe that we should not wait until one has a problem before we lend our neighbor a hand.

I also believe we should not tax one out of their home in order to fund government services. I will work with members of the House on both sides of the aisle (and in between) to find solutions. I believe that I can make a difference in Augusta by being a strong and effective voice for the people of all three of our communities.

To that end, I will be coming by your neighborhoods and homes in the near future so I can meet you and find out what your hopes and concerns are for you, your family and your community. I want to know what you think an effective state legislator should be doing for you. I want you to have an opportunity to meet me and ask me questions. If you would rather not have me knock on your door, please let me know by calling 846-0049 or email me, grahamforstaterep@maine.rr.com .

Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to make a difference for our community."
